Job summary

Leidos is seeking an UAS Systems Integration Engineer to join the S3I JSIL team in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on integrating components, diagnosing issues, and ensuring deployments perform securely and reliably.

The candidate will install, configure, and document system setups, collaborate across development teams, and support fielded systems using Linux, containerization, and automation.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS or related technical field with required experience.
• Strong Linux OS understanding and admin skills.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to obtain/maintain Final Secret Clearance and US citizenship.
• On-site Huntsville, AL with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration, performance, and deployment.
• Implement and maintain system configurations, ensuring optimal performance, security, and stability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for supported systems, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems integration processes and tools.
• Perform system installation, configuration, and support of fielded systems including advanced troubleshooting focused on Linux-based environments and containerized applications.
