Job summary

OWT Global LLC seeks an experienced UAS Airspace Integration System Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support UAS operations and low-altitude airspace management at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA. This on-site role requires roughly 25–35% travel to additional DoD and USAF locations for surveys, integration, training, exercises, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in flight test engineering, UAS testing, or aerospace systems validation.
• Experience with telemetry systems and flight test instrumentation.
• Strong experience with data analysis, data collection, and visualization tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience with technical documentation and test reporting.
• Ability to work independently in on-site environments with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UAS systems and supporting infrastructure at JBLE.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system integration issues.
• Support integration of UAS platforms with external airspace services and flight authorisation systems.
• Assist with real-time airspace coordination and deconfliction within JBLE's operations.
• Coordinate with government personnel, airspace managers, UAS operators, and other stakeholders.
• Provide reach-back coordination with engineering teams for issue resolution and updates.
• Develop and update system documentation and SOPs.
• Deliver user training and support site surveys, installations, and tests.
