Job summary

AmeriCorps in Phoenix, Arizona seeks a dynamic candidate to support the growth and long-term success of 4-H programs. Job description

Overview

This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work directly with youth while supporting the growth and long‑term success of 4‑H programs throughout the community. The successful candidate will collaborate with schools and other community‑centered organizations to help implement and strengthen innovative program delivery models. They will provide critical feedback and support to ensure current and new programs remain sustainable, continuously improve, and expand to reach more youth. In addition, this role will play an active role in traditional 4‑H programming, including supporting club projects, assisting with County Fair activities, and helping create positive and memorable experiences at summer camp.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, facilitate, and evaluate STEM, Healthy Living, and other 4‑H programming.
  • Deliver engaging educational activities for youth in different learning settings.
  • Promote, recruit, and support 4‑H club membership, volunteer involvement, and program participation.
  • Promote 4‑H programs through community outreach, marketing, and communications with media, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Implement innovative program delivery methods to increase accessibility and youth engagement.
  • Assist in preparations, setup, and daily operations for County Fair, 4‑H Camp, and community service events.
