AmeriCorps is seeking a part-time Livestock Program Assistant for the UACE Graham County 4-H program in Solomon, Arizona. The role involves assisting in developing and delivering educational activities related to livestock projects, focusing on hands-on curricula for youth aged 8-18.
The candidate will support project volunteers, research best practices, and help coordinate events. Strong team work, communication, and public speaking skills are required.

The Graham County 4‑H program is seeking a self‑motivated, organized individual to assist in developing, strengthening, and delivering 4‑H educational activities with staff, project leaders, and members in livestock projects. Participants learn skills in daily care, record keeping, showmanship & exhibition, ethics and quality assurance. Special emphasis will be on hands‑on curricula for youth ages 8‑18 that raise, care for, and exhibit animals. The member will help plan and prepare group lessons and activities and aid with recruiting and promoting 4‑H youth and volunteer participation. The schedule will vary based on programming needs and will require attendance at various monthly afternoon, evening or Saturday meetings, activities and events.
