Job summary

Uintah County UT is hiring a part-time UA Observer to perform working-level administrative and technical tasks, including observing participants during drug and alcohol collection and maintaining sample custody. You will operate testing equipment and generate reports for case managers and court staff.

Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of general office computer experience; flexible hours and county perks are offered.

Responsibilities

• Notify authorized parties of participant status in a timely manner.

UA Observer

Performs working-level administrative and technical tasks to ensure compliance with Drug Court regulations. Primary duties include directly observing same-gender participants during drug and alcohol collection (urine, breath, and saliva), operating testing equipment, and strictly maintaining the chain of custody for all samples, including positive tests sent out for lab confirmation. Additional responsibilities involve issuing participant IDs, maintaining accurate testing databases, and ensuring timely testing execution. This position also generates and distributes compliance reports to case managers, treatment providers, and court administrators, ensuring all authorized parties are promptly notified of participant status.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, alongside at least one year of experience utilizing general office computer systems. Alternatively, any equivalent combination of related education and professional experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and skills will be considered.

This part-time position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 along with some fantastic perks!
