UINTAH COUNTY seeks a part-time observer in Vernal, UT to support Drug Court operations. You will observe participants during sample collection, operate testing equipment, and maintain strict chain of custody for all samples.

You will also manage IDs and testing data while preparing compliance reports for case managers and providers. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of office tech experience; benefits include access to the county wellness center and employee events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience with general office computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Observe same‑gender participants during drug/alcohol collection.
• Operate testing equipment and ensure accurate sample handling.
• Maintain strict chain of custody for all samples, including sent-out confirmations.
• Issue participant IDs and maintain testing databases.
• Generate and distribute compliance reports to case managers and court staff.
