Job summary

Snap Inc is seeking an experienced Lead, Immigration to help scale Snap’s U.S. immigration program. This new individual contributor role will collaborate with Snap's two existing internal immigration specialists and work closely with external immigration counsel to manage increasing volume and complexity.

You’ll manage U.S. employment-based matters (H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, and green cards), support permanent residence workflows, maintain compliance, and share knowledge

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration programs, timelines, and risk points.
• Ability to translate immigration concepts into clear guidance for non-experts.
• Strong collaboration with candidates, HR, business leaders, and external counsel.
• Excellent project management and prioritization across a high-volume case portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage U.S. employment-based immigration matters for candidates and team members (nonimmigrant and immigrant).
• Support green card workflows, including PERM, and stakeholder education.
• Maintain compliance through case tracking, records management, posting/public access files, and audit readiness.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases with external counsel while balancing policy and employee experience.
• Share knowledge with recruiters and HR partners to raise capability and consistency.
• Drive process improvements across the U.S. immigration program to improve quality and efficiency.
• Adapt programs to changes in U.S. immigration law and operating norms.
• Draft clear memos communicating policy updates to team and leaders.
