Job summary

ABB Inc. seeks an experienced corporate attorney to provide comprehensive legal guidance and fiduciary oversight for U.S. entities.

You will advise executives on governance, compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic matters including major contracts, licenses, and transactions. This remote role supports ABB’s drive for speed and agility, collaborating with business leaders, supervising paralegal staff, and coordinating with global Legal & Integrity centers of excellence on IP, antitrust, and IT

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar admission and 10+ years in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience managing fiduciary responsibilities, corporate governance, and regulatory filings.
• Strong contract review, drafting, and negotiation skills, including M&A and corporate secretarial functions.
• Expertise in data privacy, government contracting, licensing, and related regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accountability for Legal & Integrity fiduciary duties and governance for U.S. entities.
• Advise the U.S. Country Holding Officer and senior management on governance and compliance matters.
• Oversee integrity investigations, data privacy, cyber, and regulatory certifications; align with internal audit and risk management.
• Provide cross-functional legal support on contracts and shared entity matters, supervising paralegals and coordinating with global centers.
