Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, energetic individuals for the Warehouse Worker role. You will operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift, load and unload storage containers, assist customers, and ensure timely delivery to and from storage facilities.

You will perform inspections, complete required documentation, and help keep the warehouse clean and safe. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Adhere to local, state and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto/off truck beds for delivery to/from storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and assist customers with the sale of support items and use of online systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and on return.
• Prepare and provide documentation for delivery/pickup of goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, dryness and security.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
