Modesto City Schools is seeking candidates who meet the minimum clerical qualifications. A high school completion (diploma, GED, or CHSPE) is required, along with a Clerical Assessment or Typing certificate showing 40 words per minute.

Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Modesto City Schools Clerical Assessment Certificate or Typing certificate evidencing an ability to keyboard at a net rate of 40 words per minute.
