Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Data Center MEP PM to lead field-based delivery of electrical and mechanical systems for hyperscale data center projects in the Abilene/Shackelford, Texas area. You will work with internal teams, partners, QA/QC oversight, consultants, and vendors to ensure safe, on-schedule, and quality execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data center construction with direct MEP experience, strong on-site leadership, and experience with hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering data center, hyperscale, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
• Direct experience supporting MEP construction on data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Experience with electrical MEP systems such as medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, transformers, power distribution, grounding, controls.
• Mechanical background with data center MEP experience including cooling, piping, and fire protection.
• Prior experience on hyperscale data center projects is required.
• Strong understanding of construction execution, field coordination, QA/QC processes, and schedule tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-based project management support for MEP systems on hyperscale data center construction projects.
• Monitor execution of MEP scope with construction teams, developers, QA/QC, contractors, and vendors.
• Support delivery of electrical and/or mechanical systems, including power distribution, cooling, and controls.
• Track project schedule, milestones, risks, and dependencies related to MEP construction.
• Review installation quality, field progress, documentation, and punch-list closure.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure proper testing and turnover.
• Identify risks, design conflicts, and schedule impacts; escalate as needed.
• Participate in construction meetings, MEP coordination sessions, and commissioning readiness discussions.
