Job summary

Primrose School of Andover seeks a dedicated 2-year-olds teacher to foster discovery and confidence through balanced learning in a loving classroom environment.

You will implement the Balanced Learning curriculum, monitor child development, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child’s growth. The role requires full-time availability and physical stamina for a busy early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Certified.
• Lead daily functions for 2-year-olds with supervision.
• Assess developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implement Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and appearance.
• Attend staff meetings and events.
• Experience leading a group of students.
• Full-time availability 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, Mon–Fri; must lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, purposeful play and guidance to 2-year-olds.
• Follow approved lesson plans and daily schedule.
• Collaborate with teachers and Curriculum Coach for ongoing improvement.
• Communicate developmental progress with families regularly.
• Maintain a safe, organized and clean classroom environment.
