Job summary

Primrose School of Andover in Andover, MA is seeking a dedicated Toddler and Twos Teacher to inspire young learners through our Balanced Learning framework. You will deliver purposeful play, implement approved lesson plans, and partner with families to support each child's growth in a warm, nurturing classroom.

Massachusetts EEC certification is required, full-time Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC certification required.
• Experience leading a group of students preferred.
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and carry out the daily functions and routines of a classroom of toddlers.
• Assess and monitor each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Communicate and collaborate with families and fellow faculty members.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development workshops.

Toddler and Twos Teacher Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC certification
• Supervise and carry out the daily functions and routines of a classroom of toddlers
• Assess and monitor each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedules in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
• Communicate and collaborate professionally with families and fellow faculty members
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the classroom
• Attend required staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events
• Previous experience leading a group of students
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, with a rotating schedule
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
