Job summary

Primrose School of Burlington in Burlington, MA seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher to help children aged 2.9–3.8 develop confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and a lifelong love of learning while embracing the Balanced Learning curriculum and a supportive co-teaching model.

You’ll work full-time with two equal co-teachers, receive planning time, and have access to an Education Coach and on-site leadership to grow your teaching skills and career in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident exploring, learning, and growing.
• Support social-emotional development by helping children recognize feelings and build friendships.
• Implement the Balanced Learning Curriculum through meaningful, age-appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with your co-teacher in planning, instruction, and daily responsibilities.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom that meets Massachusetts EEC regulations.
• Communicate with families about learning and development.
