Job summary

The Goddard School is seeking a dedicated teacher to nurture young learners on our Raleigh campus. You will plan engaging activities, observe and adapt to each child’s interests, and work closely with other teachers to deliver a creative curriculum.

Daily communication with parents and ongoing professional growth are encouraged. This role requires teamwork, calm handling of busy moments, and a commitment to safety and development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Meets background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging activities and curriculum to support children’s learning and development.
• Observe children’s interests and collaborate with teachers to expand ideas.
• Daily communication with parents via mobile apps and discussions on children’s progress.
• Engage with childcare professionals to grow professionally and improve classroom practices.
