Job summary

College Housing Northwest (CHNW) is seeking a full-time, exempt Community Manager to lead two student-centered apartment communities in the Portland area. You will supervise teams, oversee leasing operations, and ensure fiscally responsible operations while delivering high-quality resident services.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of property management or student housing experience, plus at least 3 years of supervisory experience, and a solid understanding of Fair Housing and Oregon

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
• 3–5 years of property management, student housing, or related experience
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, Equal Housing Opportunity, and Oregon landlord-tenant law
• Strong time management and collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, direction, and support to the teams at the community
• Responsible for positive student engagement and services throughout tenancy life cycle
• Manages and directs day-to-day leasing operations and related accounting
• Proactively develops and implements new practices and trainings to support growth
