Job summary

Discover After School, Inc. in Gwinnett County, GA seeks an Area Lead to oversee two Elementary School After School programs, reporting to a dedicated Assistant Director and supporting daily operations.

You will lead site teams, ensure policy compliance, conduct weekly visits, foster relationships with principals, and plan meetings and trainings. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; 10‑hour health and safety training is required.

Qualifications

• Director’s Credential required.
• All staff must have 10-hour health and safety training via Pro Solutions Training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2 after-school programs and ensure alignment with policy.
• Support Site Directors with problem-solving and escalation.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure sites meet deadlines.
• Conduct weekly site visits for quality control and evaluation.
• Maintain relationships with principals and administration.
• Plan meetings, events, trainings, and functions as directed.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.
