Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Twister Operator for the B Shift at our Chatsworth, Georgia facility. The role involves setting up, operating, and tending machines that twist yarn into packages, loading yarn, and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of required training and safety programs.
• Prior yarn or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creel single or double ply yarn packages and load yarn into twister.
• Reposition buggies of yarn at the twisters and stage tubes for winder operation.
• Thread ends of single yarns, operate the spindle, and repair breakouts during production.
• Doff twisted yarn packages and transfer to a buggy or container.
• Monitor production output and machine equipment for safe operation.
• Clean and dechoke spindles to maintain efficiency.
• Perform quality checks using black lights to inspect yarn.
• Attend training as required by supervision.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Perform general housekeeping as necessary.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by management.
