Job summary

Valdese Weavers in Valdese, NC seeks a Doubler-Twister Operator to run equipment, meet production quotas, and follow ISO 9001 work instructions. You will order yarn, monitor quality, perform creel changes, and maintain safe work habits in a team environment.

Overtime is available, with a shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus a $50 attendance bonus for two weeks with no time missed. PPE and 5S standards apply daily.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and ability to work with others.
• Ability to detect color changes.

Responsibilities

• Operate the doubler-twister machine to produce yarn.
• Order yarn from other departments as needed.
• Monitor machine to ensure good quality and meet production quotas.
• Change creels of yarn that the machine draws from.
• Work scheduled overtime and maintain safety practices.
