Job summary

Valdese Weavers is a long-established, ESOP-owned textile producer offering competitive shifts and a $1.00 per hour premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role covers dye and chemical mixing, safe handling, and daily quality-focused production tasks in a high-volume plant.

Responsibilities include weighing and mixing dyes, staging materials, operating on all shifts, and maintaining a clean, compliant drugroom environment according to ISO 9001 standards. Attendance bonuses reward reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Good communication with the ability to work well with others.
• Reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Heavy lifting and good physical condition essential.
• Previous dye house, drugroom, or machine operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix and weigh dyes and chemicals to correct formulas.
• Prepare dyes and chemicals for production on all machines.
• Open new drums of dyes and chemicals as needed each shift.
• Rinse and dispose of empty drums in proper areas.
• Maintain 5S standards and keep the drugroom clean.
• Follow ISO 9001 work instructions and safety guidelines.
