Job summary

Valdese Weavers is seeking a reliable yarn texturing operator at our Valdese, NC facility. You will run multiple air jet texturing machines to produce textured and fluffed yarn, load raw yarn, doffs and boxes finished material, and complete production paperwork.

We offer a shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts and a $50 attendance bonus every two weeks with perfect attendance. You must communicate well, work with others, and meet safety and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to discern colors and shades.
• Pre-employment requirements met.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple air jet texturing machines to meet production quotas.
• Load and prepare yarn materials and creel tubes for machines.
• Transfer finished yarn to appropriate packaging boxes.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and maintain records.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Report injuries or hazards to supervisor.
