Job summary

American Family Insurance Agency Staff is seeking a field-oriented leader to coach and advise independent agency owners on sales results and growth. This role emphasizes guiding owners to align with corporate strategy while preserving their right to operate their businesses, with frequent field work in the Minneapolis area.

The position reports to the Minnesota State Director and may involve up to 50% travel, including occasional office engagement and trainings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support and service.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
• Prior management experience or demonstrated experience leading project teams.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of budget management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the role of agency business owners as independent business owners.
• Coach and advise agency business owners on sales results and execution of the state sales plan.
• Assist agency business owners in understanding the district profit while preserving their right to run their own businesses.
• Manage district programs pertaining to independent agency business owners.
• Assist agency business owners in targeting and prioritizing best sales activities.
