Job summary

American Family Insurance Agency Staff is seeking a field-based leader to coach and advise independent agency owners in selling insurance and running their businesses. You will influence district performance by guiding sales plans and profitability while preserving owners’ rights to operate.

This role is primarily field-based with travel to meet agents and teams. You will report to the Wisconsin State Director and reside in the district, ideally Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer-driven solutions and service.
• Leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience developing operational and marketing plans.
• Budgeting concepts understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the role of agency business owners as independent business owners.
• Coach and advise agency business owners on sales results and execution of the state sales plan.
• Assist agency business owners in understanding the profit of the district while preserving their rights.
• Manage district programs as they pertain to independent agency owners.
• Assist agency owners in targeting and prioritizing sales activities and opportunities.
• Provide business expertise to ensure successful operation of their businesses.
• Source and select agency owners to fill openings.
• Build relationships with agency owners and staff.
