American Family Insurance Agency Staff is seeking a seasoned field leadership professional to coach and advise agency owners who operate as independent contractors. You will connect corporate strategy with local practice, guiding profit growth and district performance.

The role is primarily field-based, with significant travel and on-site engagement, reporting to the Minnesota State Director, and relocation support offered for eligible candidates; reside in the Twin Cities Metro area preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering customer-driven solutions and services.
• Basic knowledge of business systems and how to leverage them for efficiency.
• Prior management or lead project teams experience.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience developing and executing operational and marketing plans.
• Understanding of budget management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support agency business owners as independent contractors and align with corporate strategy.
• Coach agency owners on sales results and execution of the state sales plan.
• Assist owners in understanding district profit while preserving autonomy.
• Manage district programs related to independent agency owners.
• Assist owners in prioritizing best sales activities for their market.
• Provide business expertise to ensure successful operation of their businesses.
• Source and select agency owners to fill openings.
• Build relationships with owners and staff, respecting ownership roles.
