Job summary

American Family Insurance is seeking a field-focused leader to coach agency owners who run their own independent businesses. You will influence performance, guide district profit plans, and ensure alignment with corporate strategy while supporting owners’ autonomy.

This role requires 50% travel and significant interaction with customers, agents, and staff in the Twin Cities Metro area. You will report to the Minnesota State Director and reside in the district, with relocation support available

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience coaching agency owners and staff.
• Strong understanding of how budgets and financials impact district results.
• Experience leading projects and driving sales execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Support agency owners as independent contractors and align with corporate strategy.
• Coach owners on sales results and execution of district plans.
• Guide priority setting for sales activities and opportunities.
• Build relationships with owners and staff while respecting ownership rights.
• Use business knowledge to help ensure successful district operations.
• Identify and recruit agency owners to fill openings.
