Job summary

Brown Eagle in Port Allen, LA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely ship, receive and store packaged goods in a finished product warehouse and production area.

You will use a hand scanner with SAP, verify shipments and maintain clean, organized staging areas. TWIC card, drug test and a valid driver’s license are required; 12-hour/8-hour rotating shifts are common. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 yrs forklift experience.
• Ability to follow safety rules and maintain accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely ship, receive and put away packaged goods.
• Operate forklift in drive-in racking environment (top rack 32’ high).
• Use hand scanner with SAP to perform inventory moves.
• Verify bills of lading and invoices against shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organize staging areas.
