Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring in Massachusetts is seeking affirming educators for tutoring assignments with students in grades 9-12. The position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above-average pay rate.

Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring at our Hingham learning center, with 60-90 minute sessions and weekday windows (2pm-8pm). A Bachelor's degree is required; teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrable expertise in your tutoring subjects and the ability to teach diverse students.
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, or tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm weekdays

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor's degree
