Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring is seeking affirming educators for tutoring assignments with high school students in grades 9-12. This position offers a regular demand, a flexible schedule, and above average pay, with in-person 1:1 sessions at our learning center in Hingham, MA.

Sessions run 60–90 minutes, with 3–12 hours per week available, typically between 2pm and 8pm on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrable expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator.

Responsibilities

Location: Hingham, MA

Position: Entry level tutor

Classification: Employee (W2)

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm weekdays

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrable expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required
