Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) seeks affirming educators for tutoring assignments with high school students in grades 9-12. This position offers regular demand, a flexible schedule, and above-average pay.

As an entry level tutor, you will deliver focused 1:1 sessions at our Hingham learning center, typically 60–90 minutes, with weekday afternoons and evenings available year-round.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Expertise in the subjects you tutor and ability to teach a diverse range of students.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology/apps.
• Teaching/tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions for students in grades 9-12.
• Sessions last 60–90 minutes.
• Avail 3–12 hours per week, with 2pm–8pm weekday availability.
• No admin work; scheduling handled by us.

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor's degree
• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required
