Job summary

TPAPT is seeking affirming educators to tutor high school students (grades 9-12) in our Hingham, MA learning center. Tutors provide 60–90 minute in-person sessions, with typical availability of 3–12 hours per week between 2pm and 8pm on weekdays. A bachelor’s degree is required, with strong communication and tutoring ability.

No admin tasks are required; scheduling is handled for you. Starting pay is $40+ per hour, based on education, experience, and availability.

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking affirming educators for tutoring assignments with students in grades 9-12.

This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above average pay rate.

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA.
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes.
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm weekdays.
• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrable expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.
