Job summary

TPAPT in Hingham, MA seeks entry-level tutors to work with high school students (grades 9-12) in 1:1, in-person sessions at our learning center. Sessions run 60-90 minutes, with weekday windows 2pm–8pm and 3–12 hours weekly; flexible scheduling.

Qualified candidates have earned a bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to new technology. No administrative duties; we handle scheduling and provide SAT/ACT curricula and materials.

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking affirming educators for tutoring assignments with students in grades 9-12.

This position has regular demand, a flexible schedule, and an above average pay rate.

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA.
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes.
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm weekdays.
• Earned Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrable expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students.
• Exceptionally strong and clear communicator.
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps.
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required.
• Competitive Pay:Starting at $40+/hour, based on your education, experience, and availability.
