Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking affirming educators for in-person 1:1 tutoring with high school students in grades 9-12 at our Hingham learning center.

This entry-level tutor role offers flexible scheduling, 60–90 minute sessions, and 3-12 hours per week with weekday afternoon/evening availability; compensation starts at $40+ per hour and depends on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to teach a diverse range of students.
• Able to learn new technology and apps.
• Teaching or tutoring experience preferred but not required.

The Position:

• Provide in-person 1:1 tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 at our learning center in Hingham, MA
• Tutoring sessions last 60-90 minutes
• 3-12 hours per week of availability and the ability to work between 2pm-8pm during the week

Requirements

• Earned Bachelor's degree
• Expertise in the subjects you wish to tutor and the ability to teach them to a diverse range of students
• Capable of quickly learning new technology and apps
• Teaching, mentoring, classroom experience, tutoring experience preferred but not required
