As a Peer Writing Tutor, you will serve as a collaborative mentor to students across all academic disciplines. Rather than acting as an editor, you will empower writers to improve their craft at every stage of the writing process—from initial brainstorming and outlining to final polishing. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy for diverse learner backgrounds, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. This position offers three levels of certification, each with a rate increase.
Hourly rate of $14.50, with potential increases based on certification level.
Hours per week: 10‑20. Position is hourly and can be scheduled to accommodate work‑study workloads.
This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
