Bryant & Stratton College in Syracuse is seeking a dedicated PTA tutor to support our students preparing for the licensure exam. The role focuses on reinforcing PTA content areas and guiding entry-level clinical reasoning to help graduates succeed on the NPTE.

You will work with students one-on-one or in small groups, leveraging strong communication skills and current NYS PTA licensure standards to build confidence and readiness for licensing success.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Successful completion of the PTA NPTE.
• Current NYS PTA license.
• Foundational PTA knowledge in musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and modalities.
• Ability to explain PTA concepts using entry-level clinical reasoning.
• Strong communication and rapport-building with graduates preparing for licensure.
• Professional behavior aligned with PTA program/licensure.

This tutor will help our PTA students as they prepare to take their exam. Must meet requirements listed below along with the ability to connect and guide our students

Requirements:

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Successful completion of the PTA NPTE
• Current NYS license to practice as a PTA
• Demonstrated strong foundational knowledge in PTA content areas, including: musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, therapeutic exercise, modalities and assistive devices.
• Ability to clearly explain PTA concepts using entry-level clinical reasoning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and confidence with graduates preparing for licensure
• Professional behavior consistent with PTA program and licensure expectations

Hourly Rate: $25 per hour
