Job summary

Park North PT in New York is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapists by implementing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.

You will monitor patient progress, document changes, educate patients on home exercise programs, reinforce proper techniques, keep treatment areas clean, and assist with scheduling and charting as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• New York State PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitation exercises, modalities, and basic anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the physical therapy team to ensure quality patient care.
