Job summary

UC Santa Cruz's Learning Support Services seeks a Tutor Program Coordinator to lead tutoring and peer coaching, supervising 60-80 student staff and ensuring high-quality undergraduate academic support.

Under the Assistant Director, you will design training, monitor tutor performance, manage TutorHub, and collaborate with EOP, DRC, STARS, and other units to enhance learning and equity campus-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience leading and developing student staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers academic programs to students via LSS programs that support undergraduate success.
• Coordinates the hiring, supervision and evaluation of 60–80 tutors and SI leaders.
• Manages TutorHub scheduling system and develops tutor training opportunities.
• Partners with EOP, DRC, STARS and other student support programs to advance equity in student learning.
• Develops and implements equity-minded tutor training and professional development.
