Job summary

University of California, Santa Cruz is seeking a Tutor Project Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Learning Support Services tutoring program. You will oversee tutoring projects, supervise student staff, and coordinate services to ensure effective delivery of academic support to undergraduates.

Under supervision, you will work with the Assistant Director and LSS team to implement programs, manage scheduling, and contribute to program evaluation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
• Experience with tutoring or academic support programs in a college setting.
• Knowledge of learning theories and strategies to support student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering academic programs that support undergraduate student success.
• Coordinate tutoring programs and supervise student tutors and staff.
• Maintain TutorTrac and scheduling for tutoring services.
• Assist in program evaluation and data collection for ongoing improvement.
• Prepare and maintain records in line with university policies.
