Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pursuing AA/BA is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to comply with DOE requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow the proposed working hours schedule
• Arrive on time and ready to work
• Sign In and Out upon arrival and departure
• Provide one-on-one support to students assigned
• Track and record students receiving support (using sign-in sheets and/or online tools)
• Assist Programs in their administrative tasks such as answering the phone, faxing, filing & organizing

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Days and hours for this role will vary. Expected 12-hour work week based on a 3 or 4 day work schedule.

Hourly Rate-$25.00

• Ability and patience to work with young people, recognizing their exuberance and juvenile behavior, particularly in group settings
• Remain stationary, either working at a computer or monitoring activities

Education and/or Experience: required

• High School Diploma or GED, working towards an AA or BA degree, is a plus
• Successfully comply with DOE
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
