Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Punch Press Operator (Turret) for our Santa Teresa, NM location on 3rd shift. You will safely set up, operate, and maintain turret punch press equipment to ensure quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of customer orders.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operation experience, the ability to read work instructions, and safe handling of materials. Competitive pay includes shift premium and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspect and verify materials before processing.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements using measuring tools.
• Maintain production, inspection, and productivity records.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train team members when required.
