Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Brake Press Operator in Santa Teresa, NM to safely set up and operate brake presses on 3rd shift. You will read work orders, form metal components, inspect parts for quality, and document results while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires 1–2 years of brake press or metal fabrication experience, basic math and measuring tool skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. A 3rd shift premium is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating brake presses and reading blueprints or production specs.
• Ability to read work orders and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate brake press equipment to form metal components.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specs.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and adherence to specs.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
