Nevada Gold Mines is hiring an Underground Electrician to join the Maintenance team in our NGM operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems on underground and surface equipment while supporting a safe, efficient mining operation.

• Two years of underground electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read complex prints and understand electrical codes preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork required.

• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required.

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Electrician for our NGM operations. As part of the Underground Maintenance team, the successful candidate will improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems

• Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment
• New electrical installations as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years underground electrical experience preferred
• High voltage experience preferred
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred
• Ability to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required
• Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
