Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Underground Electrician at the Goldrush operations. You will report to the Underground Electrical Supervisor and handle electrical repairs on underground and surface equipment, plus new installations.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years underground electrical experience, high voltage exposure, and strong safety records. The role requires reading complex prints and strong teamwork in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Two years underground electrical experience preferred
• High voltage experience preferred
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred
• Ability to read complex prints and understand electrical codes preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proven team player required
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required
• Ability to perform physical labor under all weather conditions required
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job required

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:

• Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipment
• New electrical installations as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
