Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team in Carlin, NV. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing underground and surface equipment, performing new electrical installations, and supporting a safety‑driven, high‑performance team.

The position requires 2 years underground electrical experience and good reading of complex prints.

Qualifications

• Two years underground electrical experience preferred.
• High voltage experience preferred.
• Formal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferred.
• Ability to read complex prints and electrical codes preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player required.
• Exemplary safety performance and attendance record required.
• Ability to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required.
