Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced Project Manager for a manufacturing/construction environment. You will lead turnkey projects, coordinating with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or PM, 6+ years of PM experience, and strong skills in blueprints, fabrication oversight, and ERP systems. Travel and multi‑project management may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management required.
• At least six years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction, preferably with small/midsize structural steel fabrication/building.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands‑on experience with fabrication processes and oversight of fabrication work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience, Global Shop Solutions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers as their primary contact.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, track progress and address delays.
• Create and manage project budgets and participate in cost reviews.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and select vendors.
• Review bid documents with estimating to ensure timely, accurate quotes.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for opportunities and changes.
• Manage scope changes, assess risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non‑core opportunities.
