Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with manufacturing or construction experience to lead turnkey projects, acting as the primary contact for assigned customers and coordinating across management, engineering, production, and sales teams.

The role requires reading blueprints, managing budgets and schedules, and overseeing subcontractors and fabrication processes. PMI certification is preferred and expertise with ERP systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management required.
• PMI certification preferred.
• Six+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes and oversight of fabrication work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; Global Shop Solutions a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers as primary contact.
• Plan and execute turnkey projects coordinating with management, engineering, production, and sales.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets; monitor costs.
• Track progress and address delays or issues; prepare updates and reports.
• Manage subcontractor quotes and change orders; review bid documents for accuracy.
• Read blueprints and contract drawings; apply fabrication knowledge.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management to estimate costs for non-core opportunities.
