Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in manufacturing or construction. The role focuses on building durable customer relationships, leading turnkey projects, and coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, production and sales.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, 6+ years of PM experience, and proficiency with blueprints, fabrication processes, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• PM experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes and oversight of fabrication work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Global Shop Solutions a plus).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers as primary point of contact.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and complete turnkey projects coordinating with management, engineering, production, and sales teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules; track progress and address delays.
• Create and manage project budgets; monitor costs and participate in cost reviews.
• Request and evaluate subcontractor quotes; review bid documents with estimating team.
• Prepare material takeoffs and cost estimates for opportunities and changes.
• Manage changes in project scope; identify risks and develop contingency plans.
