Job summary

RMS Energy in the United States is seeking a Project Estimator to support the estimating team on multi-disciplined, turn-key projects from inquiry to execution. Under guidance of senior estimators, you will help scope and price projects, participate in onsite walk-throughs before a sale, and ensure bid details are accurately captured.

You will prepare estimates, review requests and drawings, coordinate the bid process, track deadlines, and maintain organized estimating records and CRM data.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating or project coordination in utility/construction sectors.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Knowledge of multi-disciplinary project costs and pricing.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals for projects including costs.
• Review requests, RFPs/RFQs, bid packages, drawings, and specs with guidance.
• Coordinate bid process and track scope, pricing, and deadlines.
• Attend bid meetings with leaders and teams and track action items.
• Prepare handoff packages for awarded projects.
• Organize bid information, site walk requirements, vendor quotes, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in pre-sale site walk-throughs to evaluate scope and safety.
• Identify risks, constraints, and logistics.
• Assist in pricing and change orders when scope changes.
• Maintain bid information and CRM records.
• Gather required documentation (COIs, EMRs, bonding).
• Maintain organized estimating records.
