Zusammenfassung

Albireo Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support the sales department in creating accurate estimates for Building Management Systems (BMS) and related projects. You will collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure bids are competitive and complete.

The role requires an engineering-related degree, prior estimating experience, and the ability to work with blueprints, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree or associates degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or a similar field is required.
• Prior estimating experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, mechanically skilled, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to take ownership of the job tasks and participate with a team from planning through completion to identify risks and opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Create estimates for Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs; present to sales and leadership for bids.
• Layout and design systems.
• Work with Operations during bid reviews to ensure accurate estimates.
• Perform analysis of collected data and metrics.
• Qualify new opportunities.
• Prepare technical scope of work proposals.
• Attend sales meetings and training seminars.
• Track sales activities and forecast opportunities.
• Use Studio 360 to calculate projected costs of proposed projects.
• Review blueprints and specs to determine quantities of materials.
• Solicit and review subcontractor proposals and assist with negotiations.
• Document total materials with codes, brands, and ordering details.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, owner reps, and general contractors.
• Manage workload with estimating team to complete estimates timely.
• Provide feedback on contractor lists for bidding.

Ausbildung

Engineering degree or associates degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or a similar field is required.
