As a housekeeper, you will engage with guests to ensure a consistently clean and welcoming environment, work closely with a team to uphold cleanliness standards, and maintain carts, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners; lift up to 25lbs; operate equipment like vacuums, mops, and sprays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness.
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked.
• Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities.
• Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
• Daily changing and inspection of linens and towels, following the Green Program.
• Practice safety standards and report hazards.
• Respect for guests’ property.
• Responsible care of equipment.
• Reports to work on time and follows posted schedule.
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor.
