Job summary

Montage Hotels & Resorts in Laguna Beach, CA, is seeking a Turndown Attendant to clean and refresh guest rooms to the highest standards. You will deliver turndown service, change linens, tidy bathrooms and report repairs to ensure the resort’s rooms are meticulously maintained.

Candidates should have at least one year of hotel cleaning experience, be a high school graduate, and be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have one year prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms.
• Must also be a high school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• The ideal candidate will promote a positive image of the property by displaying a pleasant and upbeat personality during each guest interaction and be comfortable responding to and carrying out specific guest needs and requests.
• Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms is of utmost importance.

Summary

The Turndown Attendant will clean and supplying guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards and reporting necessary repairs to ensure the Resort’s exceptional accommodations are meticulously maintained.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk; handle or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Exert physical effort in being able to clean several rooms per shift.

The pay scale for Turndown Attendant is $23.00

The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
